Aquatics South West specialise in the Silt removal and Dredging of large ponds and lakes.

At Aquatics South West we do not use excavators within the water or use long reach excavators to scrape the silt from the bottom and sides of the pond or lake.

Our experience shows that using an excavator runs a risk of damaging the clay lake bed; especially if the pond or lake is man made.

Aquatics South West have been de-silting ponds and lakes since 2003 and have not had a single case where the pond or lake bed has been damaged.

Aquatics South West are able to dredge your pond or lake without removing the water. This means that the fish and wildlife are able to remain safe within the water.

We will normally use a Truxor Amphibious machine with an Auger pump to remove silt or a Clam-shell silt attachment.; however for specific jobs and situations we do have various dredging pumps such as cutter suction and vortex pumps to suit the individual requirements.
